Granite Mountain Stone Design seeks a dynamic and customer-focused Countertop Showroom Consultant to join our team. As a Countertop Showroom Consultant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients and guiding them through the countertop selection process. Your Role
- Greet and engage customers visiting the showroom, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Assess customer needs and guide them toward the best countertop options based on style, budget, and project specifics.
- Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, colours, and styles while explaining their benefits and care requirements.
- Present product samples, clearly outlining specifications and installation procedures.
- Provide accurate quotes and estimates, maintaining transparency in pricing and services.
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers, contractors, and industry professionals to encourage repeat business.
- Ensure the showroom is clean and organized, with product samples and marketing materials properly displayed.
- Answer phone inquiries and forward calls to the appropriate team member.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and address customer needs.
- Detail-oriented and able to provide accurate information and quotes.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales, especially in home improvement or interior design, is a plus.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays (about every six weeks) and extended hours if needed.
